IRCv3 is balling! Once the image uploads proposal starts getting implemented in a couple of the big networks we're basically 100% there on feature parity with most modern chat apps.

The one thing I need is E2E. without it i guess it will do. But I think we should all move to encrypted chats. Though show us what you found! I'm curious to know.

@OliviaVespera i've been working with codeberg.org/emersion/soju and i'm looking into hosting my own server with ergo.chat/ to enable new features like reacts + file uploads that are backwards compatible with older clients :3
every time irc comes up among friends i comment how i really love how they are "rooms" on an actual server you can more freely join and leave. i like that structure best
